Selling through Dodo Payments
SaaS and AI products, digital goods, templates, plugins and apps. Not supported include physical goods and in-person services, manual/human digital services (custom design, development, coaching, consulting), licensed professional services (legal, accounting, medical), health and wellness products, adult content, financial products, gambling, games and in-game goods, crypto, hosting/VPN/VPS, telecom, dating and AI relationship companions, travel and visa services, religious or spiritual services, donations and fundraising, marketplaces and ticketing. Review needed: AI content generation, e-books, productised services, marketing tools.
Individuals or registered entities. Eligibility is decided by the country that issued the government ID: an individual's own ID, or the ID of every director and beneficial owner. A company registered in a listed country cannot onboard if any director or owner can only verify with an ID from an unlisted country. Dodo's pages conflict on whether the company's own country of incorporation also has to be listed: the eligibility table checks directors' IDs "in addition to the country of incorporation", while the same page says eligibility is not based "on where your company is registered" and the verification page applies the ID rule "regardless of where the entity is incorporated". The payout bank account may be in a different country from the ID if it is in the merchant's own name. Payouts require approved bank, business and monitoring reviews.
Bank payout to an account in the verified person's or entity's name (the account may be in a different country from the ID): local bank transfer in local currency (no wire fee), international SWIFT wire in USD (per-wire fee), or a Payoneer receiving account entered as a bank account. Available transfer methods vary by country. Balances are held in USD, GBP and EUR wallets; INR payouts discontinued. Paid twice a month by default (1st–15th paid on the 18th, 16th–month end paid on the 4th); weekly on request for higher volumes; some high-risk businesses monthly. Default minimum $100 (can be lowered to $50).
Fees
Standard: 4% + $0.40 per transaction (US cards and wallets); +1.5% for cards and APMs outside the US; +0.5% for subscriptions, add-ons and usage billing; +3% for PayPal or BNPL (Klarna, Afterpay/Clearpay); India INR cards and UPI 4% + $0.15 plus international fees; ACH and SEPA Direct Debit 1.5% capped at $15/€15 (replaces the card fee). $1 per refund, $30 per dispute. Payouts free, but $5 if under $1,000 and $25 for USD SWIFT payouts to non-US businesses. Enterprise pricing is custom. Seen 2026-10-24.

Available in 130 of the 170 countries we track.
Statuses describe the country that issued the identity document, not the place of incorporation: an individual's own ID, or the ID of every director and beneficial owner of a company. A company registered in a listed country cannot onboard if a director or owner only holds an ID from an unlisted country (Dodo's pages conflict on whether the company's own country of incorporation must also be listed). Bangladesh, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, Ukraine and a few others are closed to new merchants; merchants already onboarded there continue under enhanced monitoring.
