Selling through Paddle

What you can sell

Software (B2B SaaS, consumer software, games) and related digital products. Prohibited: physical products, human services not tied to software (consulting, coaching, IT services), donations/crowdfunding/community access/sponsorship, marketplaces for non-Paddle sellers, adult content and dating, gambling, financial and payment services and crypto exchanges, gift cards and stored value, IPTV and streaming downloaders, deepfakes, face swaps and voice impersonation, device cleaners, antivirus and Captcha solving. Also prohibited: advertising and marketing services (job boards, MLM, mass SMS), travel services, medical advice, unlicensed software resale (e.g. Microsoft, Adobe) and exam-prep/essay services the seller does not own. Restricted (enhanced review): human-like face generation, technical support services, VPNs and proxies.

Who can sell

Software businesses (B2B SaaS, consumer software, games) in any country not on the unsupported list. Businesses whose primary offering is human services or physical goods are not a fit. The MSA defines suppliers to include individuals (e.g. its UK/Isle of Man supplier definition), but no general statement on individual sellers was found.

How you get paid

Bank/wire transfer (local ACH/SEPA/UK/CA/AU rails where currency matches, otherwise SWIFT with a $/€/£15 fee) or Payoneer. Payout currencies: AUD, GBP, CAD, CNY, CZK, DKK, EUR, HUF, PLN, ZAR, SEK, CHF, USD. Monthly: balance converted on the 1st if above the threshold (min $100), sent by the 15th. A conversion margin of up to 1.5% applies if the payout currency differs from the balance currency. Wise-style accounts that provide bank details can receive payouts.

Fees

5% + $0.50 per checkout transaction, no monthly fee (pricing page). Paddle Invoicing paid by bank transfer: 3.5% (MSA clause 3.2). Products under $10 and high-volume businesses can get custom pricing. Currency conversion at checkout carries a 2–3% FX margin; chargebacks cost up to 20 GBP/USD/EUR. Seen 2026-10-24.

Prices change and may depend on your volume and country. Check the provider’s pricing page before relying on them.
